This year's Christmas was fun!

We did not repeat the same mistake we did last year - Going out to some *happening* place and find ourselves middle of somewhere like Sungei Wang that is packed with people, ended up doing nothing but sweating profusely and waiting like an idiot just to see fireworks, and when it's time to see fireworks, we could not open our eyes at all because everyone around us are spraying the so called 'snow' from a RM10 bottle! And when it's time to go back from the chaos, we need to squeeze in a practically sandwiched monorail/LRT and get our butt ber-geseran with other people who finds it exciting to have their butt rubbed against someone's butt!!!

This year, we decided to stayed at home, far away from those Christmas fanatic. We went over to Hon's house to play some dice, listen to Christmas songs, and the aim for that night is to get totally wasted (which some of us did). The game we played is called "tai wa sek" (in Cantonese). The game is real simple, and even easier to get people drunk!

Dice and Chivas.. just the tool to get us started! Yeah baby yeah!

You can have it plain, or to mix it with white (sprite) or black (pepsi)

Lai lai lai~ yaaaammmm.. seeeennnggggg!!!!

Easy and relax life is almost at its end.

A life full with commitment and responsibility starts soon.

These 3 years have been real fun. It's a huge step to take resigning from the working world, and to enter a world that I feel I don't belong. But in the end, it appears to be a wise step. I have no regrets at all. Getting to know friends that we can really hang out with, talk rubbish for hours at the mamak stall and still doesn't seemed like we had enough, I believe that the time spent here at Setapak is the most wonderful time ever.

Studies is studies, that 3 years for me is like.. whatever action I take, it is for me only to bear. I will not drag anyone into my problem, or to affect anybody with the consequences of any action I take. If I'm playful, bad results is for me to bear. If I spend money like nobody business, I would have to find a few more part time jobs. In the end, it's all about me.

Now.. I would have to plan every step that I'm bound to take. It feels like, if I took the wrong step, the consequences would be too much for me to bear. So do I really want to take this step? Going to UK is something I want, but is it something I really need? Guess this questions have been running around the minds of many more classmates who will be graduating soon.

But I've decided. Want to know if I'm going to UK? Look out for me at the airport. If you don't see me, then it's a goodbye.

To classmates who have decided to work/ further studies, I hope this quote may inspire you, or maybe motivate you a little bit, I know I am.

Making a true decision means committing to achieving a result,
and then cutting yourself off from any other possibility.

As the clock strikes 2.10am, here I am in the midst of struggling to complete my web blog assignment. Being such a big fan of FOOD, I decided to create a web blog based on the theme ‘Cari-cari makan with Joyce’. The inspiration for choosing this theme definitely comes from KY! Well, I don’t know him personally, but the way he blogs about food always makes me drool!

Since I’m referring a lot to his blog for my assignment, I constantly read his blog post and am very attracted to all the pictures of food taken. It all looked so tempting!!! I couldn’t just look at it and just imagine how delicious it tastes right?!!! So I came up with a new resolution for 2009 – to earn a lot a lot a lot of money and dine at KY's recommended outlets – ALL OF THEM! Can’t wait to try the steaks, grilled shrimps, scallops etc.. so many of them! When can I finish trying all the food in his blog?! I haven’t even start to try any!!! I better buy along a weighing scale to guide my through the new 2009 resolution (if I’m lucky enough).

At the meantime, I guess I should share his blog with friends who can afford to dine at such places, a car to travel to various place (some very ulu in remote area), and one that have great passion for food! Few suitable candidates such as Bernard & Teck Sheng shall be contacted to further discuss this weekend trip to cari-cari makan with Joyce! Haha…

This web blog assignment really sucks! It’s week 9 now, and I only attended 2 lectures. I don’t know what the hell is Adobe Dreamweaver and I definitely have no idea how to design a web blog with it! Damn…

I spent the last Saturday at Putrajaya with a couple of very impulsive friends! Bernard was actually suggesting that since I have such a nice camera to use, why not take pictures of really nice architecture in Putrajaya. Bernard talked about his admiration for the beautiful buildings at Putrajaya, especially at night when all the buildings and bridges are beautifully lit up. According to him, a lot of foreigners was awed by such high level of architecture in Malaysia, thus it’s nonsense for a Malaysian to claim never been to Putrajaya. Since it’s a place that I’ve never been to, so yea, why not!

We drove through Cyberjaya, passing by ex-PM Mahathir’s residence area, and slowly to Putrajaya. One thing to notice when we’re in Putrajaya is the many fancy designs of street lights! Different area has different design of streetlights.

Then we stopped at Dataran Putra in Putrajaya – and I’m so surprised with the cars parked there!!! The parking lot is full!!! Couldn’t believe that Putrajaya (deemed only as a place where most of the Government’s office is located), is actually a nice weekend place for many families to hang out. But to my dismay, we are the only Chinese there. Everywhere we see, it’s Malay people. They brought along their little ones, a “tikar” and some food for a picnic beside the small water fountain.

There we saw the PM’s Office – which is HUGE!!! Couldn’t believe that they actually need such a space to work!!! But besides functioning as an office, it is also a display of some Islamic architectural elements – totally cool??!!!

PM's office at Perdana Putra

After having some lousy Malay kuih and drinks at Putrajaya Walk, Alicia and I persuaded Bernard and Chew to join us for the 45 minutes river cruise through Putrajaya man-made lake. It was the first time for me and Alicia, while Bernard has been on the cruise for numerous times. Luckily we 2 ladies managed to persuade Bernard and Chew to join us, and I believed the 2 guys did not regret spending RM30 for their own ticket! Haha! Night view of the buildings and bridges are really fabulous!!! I was speechless.. the scenery is just spectacular.. I took many breathtaking pictures there.. Have a look!
