This is a back-dated post. I just need to share this thing because how important it is to me. :)

Am very glad that ET organized this trip for us. I uses one of our photo in Port Dickson from two years back and compare with what we are now. Am glad that we are still in one piece, and maybe Chew... just half of him. :)

Day 1 - Klang - Malacca - Johor

We made a pit-stop Malacca for famous chicken rice ball at Kedai Kopi Chung Wah and cendol at Jonker Walk.

We were all at awe when we first entered our 3-bedroom apartment at Lotus Desaru Johor.
It was really an amazing and comfortable place to stay in.

From a clean sandy beach, to swimming pool, water park, club house and many more!

Us hanging out at the beach at night with our own junk food and vodka!
I really miss the breezy air hitting softly on my face and
the peaceful sound of waves that just calms my mind.

Day 2 - Lotus Desaru Johor

Chilling out at Rhu Bar.. just love to spend the morning at the beach!

Had seafood lunch at Restoran Sungai Emas, Sungai Rengit.
Boleh-lah... not very impressive though.

We went to the Ostrich Farm too!
First time in my life I hold a super huge egg!
This ostrich egg is equivalent to 30 chicken eggs!
We ate ostrich omelet, ostrich satay and ostrich herbal soup as well.

We went to the fruit farm at Sungei Rengit to find that there is an entrance fee!
So just went to the fruit market instead.

Back to the resort's Water Park!
Had ALOT of fun and laughter with my buddies!
 Unforgettable moments indeed...

We did the lazy river thingy for so many times!

Taking the kampong coconut splash!

Went to the beach and waiting to be hit by the strong waves!
Abit silly but trust me, it was "adventurous" in our own way.

Spent some time in the swimming pool and yeah, did the most common "hold your breath" game.

Dinner at Sungai Rengit again for char kuey teow, grilled stringray and squids.

We had a truly great time here and hoping to be back again.
That time, we will stay longer to enjoy all the facilities offered by the resort!
Looking forward to that day...

Something went wrong somewhere and my Genting blogpost went cuckoo!

Luckily there is a softcopy and photos in my PC and I manage to re-post this...

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Genting Highlands is always the best choice for a short getaway from the hustle and bustle of the everyday urban life.
We get to enjoy the cool weather at Genting Highlands, laze around while enjoying hot chocolate and to walk around at our own pace. Our Nuzul Al-Quran PH was not a waste at all...
(click for larger image)

Little Izzy was so occupied with her games and storybook in iPad2. And apparently, she likes the blueberry cheesecake more than tiramisu in Coffee Bean. I agree with her choice too because the blueberry cheesecake is definitely yummier! ;)

Hey Barry! Where is your mobile manners?!! Haha~
All 3 of us was struggling to find a wi-fi spot. Why is it so hard to online and check-in?!! I've missed earning some points in foursquare just because the stupid line in Coffee Bean is just too slow!!!

We took the opportunity to add more memories by taking photos on our way back to the hotel room. These good memories is gonna last a long... long.... time.... :)

Hou Mei Restaurant at Genting Highland sucks to the max! All of us ordered food varies from tom yam seafood, curry laksa, wan tan noodles, chicken hor fun and I ordered chicken rice. All these food are LOUSY. My steamed chicken is cold and tasteless! Will not go near this restaurant anymore!
And if you look closer at the above photo, you can see that Alicia is carrying a big G2000 bag. It belongs to Barry. He had shopping mood that day and was crowned champion for the total of money spent. Bet he won't call me for Starbucks anymore for the rest of the month... Haha!

We went to Fortune Dim Sum at Sri Petaling. It is one of the famous dim sum shop that everyone is talking about.
This place is not a disappointment to me, as the food is slightly above average, and there are several unique dishes such as "kai wor pao" (like a lor mai kai inside a pao), and a dimsum that has sausages in it with wrapped bacon. I enjoyed my all time favourite fried salad prawn too! Three of us had around 15 plates and the total bill come out to RM52. Overall, I would say that this restaurant is a place worth visiting.

God... Please give me stronger willpower to take the path that I want to take. And please give me strength to not breakdown easily and stop being a HAM BAO!!!...especially in the office!!!

It was Malaysia Day and also a day where I did one of the craziest food hunting ever... In total we went to 5 different outlets just for lunch! How crazy is that??!!!

At first we went to have a proper lunch at Serai Empire that serves Thai, traditional Malay and some variety of Western food.

Dessert : Trab Thim Grob (something like that) - coconut milk with nut shell. Not bad but not impressive. Would prefer it hot, maybe the taste of coconut milk would be better then.

Macchiato - small little cup if coffee, just like espresso, without the kick.

Tomyam seafood. Very sourish and taste good. Would prefer it to be thicker and a little bit more spicy.

Nasi kerabu with ayam percik. I really miss the taste of authentic nasi kerabu prepared by my aunt. Being a nyonya that has quite alot of Malay influence in terms of cookery, my aunt prepared one of the best nasi kerabu I have ever tasted. Serai Empire is not a disappointment, but it just does not live up to my expectation as someone who ate nasi kerabu since young. They do have all the essential ingredient such as telur masin, cili sumbat, keropok ikan, and sambal, but I would prefer more long beans and all the leafy stuff. And perhaps some taugeh? The ayam percik is not bad, nicer having it with the accompanied gravy.

I would say that Serai Empire @ Empire Gallery do provide good variety of authentic food, but the taste has been customized to local preference and thus more commercialized.

As the portion we ordered are meant for 1 person, we decided to do stall hopping! There are alot of food kiosk and we just hop from one to another.

2nd stop! Hot&Roll! This food kiosk has always been one of my favorite grab away food. Took my usual Crispy Chicken Ham & Cheese. Would love to try other fillings in my next visit.

Next is the Sisters Crispy Popiah. Usually I don't take popiah (spring roll) unless it is fried. But this is an exception because I really love the crispy filling inside. It is unlike the normal popiah that is soggy. Don't think I can find this in Klang... Hmmm...

4th stop is the popular 1901 Hotdog! We had coney dog which I hope they could improve more on the sauce. All these while I would only take the Soakin Ted which is the huge hotdog. It taste just as good although with only ketchup.

The last stop we made for lunch is Dome at Subang Parade. We need to complete our lunch with a good cup of coffee, and as for me, I am eager to find out why Bernard says Dome's mushroom soup is better than Levain's.

My big bowl of wild mushroom soup. It is creamy n thick in flavor with alot of mushrooms in it! I especially love the croutons to be soaked / dipped in the soup before I eat it. Yummy... And it is comparable to Levain's, which I find more flavorful, maybe because it is a wild mushroom + chicken soup.

Overall we had way too much for lunch. I did not over stuffed myself though. Feeling good and could have a bowl of good cendol too! ;)

Few days back a puppy was standing on another side of the fence at my house, looking into the party we are having at home.

Mum spotted the puppy overlooking at us, and the puppy (female) looked so pity. We can't help but to bring her in and feed her. She eat and drink like she haven't eat for days. Aunt and uncle was pestering dad to keep her as pet. I can see that dad wanted to, and mum kept grumbling about how dirty and smelly she is. The puppy is not helping at all as she prove mum's statement about her by scratching herself the whole night! Mum was so worried that she has got flees on her!

She was really playful and I love playing with her. Amazingly, she could understand a few simple instruction like "SIT!", and when I slap my lap, she know how to come up to me, she knows that I call her when I whistle at her. Really cute little puppy and I hope that dad keeps her too!

She stinks... bad time!

Cute puppy that knows how to come to my lap when I asked her to..

The puppy finally stayed at the back yard when we are all finished with the party. But chaos started when mum woke up in the morning to find that the puppy is sleeping in our hall!!! She came in the morning as dad didn't close the door properly when he went out. She peed at a few place in our house compound and mum just kept mumbling, grumbling, complaining, while cleaning the house. Dad has got no choice but to chain her up.

I woke up in the morning and heard the puppy whining. She sounded so pitiful and I went to search for her. It breaks my heart to see that dad has chained her up! Gave dad and mum hell of a lecture. I was so angry and blasted out... "She's just a puppy and is a stray dog! It's not her fault to pee in our house! She don't understand that she is not supposed to pee here! If you wanna keep her as a pet, then toilet train her! Not chain her up or put her in a cage! Although you meant well to care for her, but by chaining her, this is an animal abuse and a sin to you! Animal has the right of freedom too! If you can't give her freedom, then don't keep her! Let her run wild!!!".

Mum and dad kept silent and I walked off... (felt bad for blasting at them too but I can't help seeing the dog like that).

Heart breaking moment to see her all chained up!!! :'(

Got myself ready to work and still find her whining. I can't stand it any longer and took the chain off from the grill, but the chain is still attached to her neck though. And the chain was pretty heavy! I walked the puppy to the neighbouring area to find her rightful owner. Asked several people who said "not ours" and finally saw a Bangaladesh guy who claimed that the puppy belong to his boss. So I handed the puppy to him. I could see that the puppy refuse to follow him and he drag her on the floor. I shouted at him and ask him to whistle and the dog will follow him (it worked for me).

Since I was already late for work, I could not follow-up with that guy. To-date, the fate of the lost puppy is unknown. But at least I know it is not my dad who chained her. I will miss the puppy dearly.. Sorry daddy for taking away your pet... :'(

This is not the first stray dog we encountered. Few months back there's one dog which we have taken care for few days and she disappeared later on. We called her "Hiau Hiau" because she likes to play with guys than girls. She guard our main gate to the house and greeted me everytime I come back from work.

Hiau Hiau play with me in the morning.. :)

Mum says she hate dogs, but she mind when Hiau Hiau follows my dad around, but not her! Haha!

Mum talking to Hiau Hiau

Hiau Hiau follows dad wherever he goes..

Stray or not, I really love these puppies. But I will always remember what Vince & Robin told me when I first thought about having a stray puppy as my pet. Bad habit never change.. especially my crazy love for dogs. :)

I have finally gotten the chance to try the ramen at Hokkaido Santouka!

In my previous two visits there, it was packed and the Q was so long that I have given up! But this time I went on weekdays, right after work.

Ambiance:-
There was no Q at that time, but it was full house though. This shop is actually quite small and with the space constraint, all the seating are put very closely. I feel very uncomfortable because we would have to talk softer otherwise both the tables on our right and left would have overheard our conversation. And in fact I did hear their conversation because they are just too near to us! :(

Shio Char Siu - S Size

Shio Toroniku - M size with pork at the side to retain the pork original taste.
And my favourite 3/4 boiled egg called Komi-Tamago... yummylicious!

Karaage (Fried Chicken with tartar sauce)

Fried chicken gyoza

Food:-
Yummylicious! There are 4 different broth, which are shio (salt flavor), shoyu (soya sauce flavor), miso (soyabean flavor), kara-miso (spicy soybean paste flavor). I asked the waitress which would she recommend and she said shio is the best. It indeed is because I drank it till the last drop! Did not finish the ramen though... cause I was wayyyy tooo full then!

As for the fried chicken, not sure why but I could taste a very strong fragrance of ginger. But the tartar sauce is really nice to go with the chicken. The gyoza on the other hand is not very impressive because the "skin" is a little bit too thick. Just like dimsum, I like the skin to be thin to compliment the fillings. :)

Price:-
Very expensive! For 2 bowl of ramen, one plate of fried chicken, gyoza and 2 hot ocha, it cost almost RM100! Over-priced... :(

Shio Char Siu (S size) RM27.50
Shio Toroniku (M size) RM36.00
Karaage RM10.00
Chicken Gyoza RM10.00
Komi-Tamago (Egg) RM2.00
Green Tea RM4.00
With 10% it all total up to RM98.45

Would like to say THANK YOU to Sunny boy for belanja-ing me this yummylicious meal!!! Next round would be my turn yah!!! ;)

Yummylicious!

Few days ago we went for dinner at Bubur Goreng @ Eng Ann and yeah it was yummy! Chew did told me that the steam lala is comparable to one in Boston Klang. I tried and I agree with him!

Fried porridge with dried squids, and chunks of fried pork lard. Usually I am not fond of porridge unless I am sick, but this porridge will be one of those that I will crave for.

There's nothing much to talk about the hokkien fried mee except that it is just so-so and a little bit salty.

Yummy meatball. Like the crunchiness and the mixed taste of garlic and some vege stuff. Nicer with Kampung Koh chili sauce.

Steam mantis prawn with egg. These big juicy sumptuous mantis prawn is steamed to perfection and when is peeled from top, you can just bite it off easily. So sweet and yummy!!!

Steamed lala is the best!!! I'm lala mui and a big fan of this little shelled friend. Both Boston and Bubur Goreng serves equally good steam lala. The difference is that Boston's lala has alot more ginger and soup. While in Bubur Goreng, there are more garlic and the lala is slightly smaller. But it taste good though!

Love my dinner there and will definitely return for more since it is near to my house.

Yummylicious!!! :)

I had just walked out from my bathroom where I vomited like nobody business. Vomiting is nothing new to me. But this time, I scare the shit out of myself because of the amount, and how I vomited is just like the horror movie in which a girl vomits when she was possessed by a demon. Have you saw those movie before? Do you want me to demonstrate it?

Moment ago I was like... "Did I eat / drink this much???" because I kept waiting for myself to finish vomiting but I couldn't!!!

Just like the above photo, that was how much I vomited, but I puked 10 over times till I finally finish it. Possessed by a "puking demon"??? Next exorcist???

I actually ate very little today.. with no lunch. And am very puzzled thinking where does all the food / liquid comes from! I practically filled up 3/4 of the toilet bowl with my puke!!!!! (yucks???)

Hmmm... Am alright now after emptied my stomach. Has got stomachache which is normal as it happens everytime I vomited.

Haaaihhhh... feeling like shit. Emo-lahhhh.... (could still see some leftover food on the floor trap) // Heheheee....
I have personally pick and choose, and shortlisted some of the good love quotes which I have browsed thru from my iPod. It's really nice and just for sharing... :)
