We have heard people saying "I'm waiting for my Mr. Right..."

Has anyone ever wondered why is it that we call them Mr. Right and not Mr. Perfect?

Coz nobody is perfect in this world, this includes you, and me.

Saw online that some have a long list on what they want from their Mr. Perfect.

"good looking, have a great sense of humor, be social, really smart, very successful, sensitive yet strong, emotionally available and stable, thoughtful, sexy, sweet"

Imagine your bf / gf expecting the same from you.

Wow.. stressful isn't it?

My sincere opinion is that the above criterias are bullshit!

It doesn't require someone to try really hard / or to be the perfect one,
coz if they are the right one, things will fall into place for each other.. naturally n perfectly.

A guy who might be the Mr. Perfect for everyone else,
may not be Mr. Right for me.

To my Mr. Right, who is nothing but PERFECT to me,
I can't wait to meet you, coz we're so gonna...

 love each other
 care for each other
feel happy being with each other
make each other smile
make each other laugh
love spending time with each other
 share common interest
have great fun doing things together
give meaning and add value to each other life
be the best person to talk to about problems in life
 share ideas / feelings openly
be a good person to each other
make each other a better person
treat each other family like our own
NEVER EVER HURT each other
be generous, honest, trustworthy
be committed into a long-lasting relationship with each other

last but not least,
we will grow old gracefully together... :)

This post initiated from watching lovey dovey Azlan and Dian yesterday.

Feel happy for them, and their struggle through hardship
in their 10 over years of courtship before getting married this year.

Thank you for being such a good role model and
restore my faith in love.. and in men.

Azlan and Dian Chong
Happy for both of you, and congratulations once again!!!

Love may be like this giant glass of margarita..
It may be sweet..
It may be sour..
It may even be bitter..
I might like it..
I might not..
But I'll dive in anyway..
Coz I will not be afraid of what I'll find..
That dive worth the risk..
Coz there are chances that I may end up drunkenly in love.. :)

Cheers to LOVE!

Was asked again to join the Setia Eco Park guys for SSRC paintball tournament this year.

The fun, the thrill and the pain, who can resist?
Me!
Seeing the above photos is making me 'kan cheong' ady..
Let alone playing it on the field!

Stupid Nicky shot me twice last year on the side unprotected by the vest.
And after he shot me, he bragged about it for a little while.
Saying the shot was CLASSIC!!! (he's so dead I'm telling you)

And for my so-called revenge,
he has offered me to shoot him back twice WITH the vest on!

How unfair is that huh?!!!!

With the coming weekends so occupied,
I do not have the time to join the guys for the practice sessions!!!

baby funny photo

Arggghhh... am feeling so scared now.

I wish I have more time to go for a few games before the tournament.
Which I obviously don't!!!!

HOLY COW!!!
Panic button triggered!!!

Task!

To send some of my clothing to the tailor for alteration! ... and to give away clothing that are beyond alteration. Imagine how to turn S to L size?!!

To bring all my accessories for a wash to make it bling bling again! ... and to get new bling that pop my eyes out! WAAAA @. @

To send shoes to the cobbler! ... and to throw away unwanted shoes. "You've brought me to miles and miles of rough road.. but it's time to say goodbye".

When will I have the time to do all these?

Did you see those Western movie where rich people have their own chauffeur, maid, nanny, cook, and even tailor under the same roof?!!! Can I have one of those life?!!

Reminder!

The wish list I have posted previously is not a form of hint for my birthday present.

I do not have any intention to hint anyone about my birthday gift. That wish list is a form of target for me to achieve certain things myself that brings me self satisfaction.

Some people said just by thinking, it is not enough to push one self. By writing it out and declaring it, you will give yourself pressure to make it happen! If it doesn't, then malu-lahhhh.... So I will fulfill my own wish list, it is just a matter of time. :)

So my dear reader... please do not buy me anything from my wish list thinking it is a hint for my birthday present, BECAUSE IT IS NOT!! :)

It merely serve as a reminder and motivation for me to buy it myself as YEAR END BONUS IS COMING!!! Haaaaapiiieeee!!! ;)

And if you are thoughtful enough to buy me a birthday present, please be creative and think out of the list! Do not spoil my self-motivational plan! Hahahahaaa~

K thx bye! ;)

Was flipping thru my wardrobe yesterday and found a dress which I have never wore before.

It is a simple and short casual dress bought by a classmate as Xmas pressie few years back.

I tried on it yesterday and found that it is too short and too sexy for me, so decided to transform the dress into a blouse!

I took another blouse to measure how much i need to cut. Drew a line with pen and ruler. Then SNIP SNIP and there goes my dress.

Took me THREE damn hours to do running stitches while watching my favorite Hokkien movie. Took so long because the material is too soft and it causes a great deal of pain on my left hand to fold and to hold it tightly while my right hand sewing on it. Stopped a few times to rest my hand (the cloth is really soft okay....). Nevertheless i was patiently sewing as I want to see how the outcome is like. Finally done at 10.45pm and VOILA!!! My blouse looked great!!!

Anxiously tried on it and immediately felt so disappointed! Spent so much time and effort and yet it is still TOO LONG!!!

Wat da hell....

And no... I will NOT spend 3 more hours to make the blouse shorter! Learnt my lesson. Be more careful in the measurement phase!

....and if you are wondering, I will be sending my blouse to the tailor this time.

I have just scrolled through Oscar 2011 Red Carpet photos and found some interesting bits.

For one, Christian Bale who I always adore for his good look and acting in Batman.. had just screwed up his totally cool image in my head. This is a bomb to me cause I can't recognize him at all!

Christian Bale in Oscar 2011

Secondly, look at the below photo and tell me who he is.

Christian Bale & Mark Wahlberg at Oscar 2011

Please pardon me for my innocence or being outdated in the celebrity world. At the first glance, I thought it was Matt Damon who is with Christian Bale in that photo. It turns out to be Mark Wahlberg. Are they like brothers or what?!! Cause I can't tell them apart!!!

Another celebrity look-alike is...

Amy Adams at Oscar 2011

Is Amy Adams the one who acted in Enchanted? Checked! Is Amy Adams the one who acted in Julie & Julia? Checked! She too is the one who acted in Night at the Museum, Leap Year and Confession of a Shopaholic. EHHH!! WAIT WAIT!!! NOOOO??? IMDB said it was Isla Fisher who acted in Confession of a Shopaholic. Isla who? Gawdd.. I never knew her existence and have always thought it was Amy Adams cause THEY ARE SO ALIKE!

I have just watched "Life As We Know It" yesterday and thought I saw Matthew Mcconaughey as "Sam" the doctor. I went to IMDB again and found that there is one actor who actually looked like him by the name of Josh Lucas.

And there is one last celebrity look-awhile which I have observed many years ago. This involved Helen Hunt and Jodie Foster. I watched Panic Room and was thinking if it was Hunt or Foster? The answer is actually Foster. How about Pay It Forward? It was Hunt. And the movie Flightplan, it was actually Foster! OMG... I'm making myself so confused. See the attached photo and you'll know what I mean!

It's crazy to be blogging at 11.45pm for this kind of thing. Heading to bed cause tomorrow is Tuesday and guess what, I gotta work!!!! Arrrghhhh!!!
