I am currently keeping myself awake to catch the flight at 6.50am back to Malaysia.

Amazingly, I've been here for 2 weeks and I only posted 3 blogs!

Busy eating, eating and eatinggg!!! (Still manage to maintained my weight!)

Hmm~ am feeling kinda dissatisfied. IF possible, I wanna extend this trip to another 2 weeks, perhaps for a month! I like it here. It's peaceful and a very good place to clear off my mind.

Oh well, reality check - I've got to go back home, find a job and start my donkey years again before the next holiday comes!

Here in Australia, I've come to realized that there are no 7-Eleven at all! Not even in the city! And there are numerous choices of fast food - Hungry Jack's, Chicken Treat, Red Rooster, Pizza, Express, and all these are on top of our usual KFC, McD, Pizza Hut, Domino's blah blah blah. And oh gawd... roti canai here cost more than AUD7 for the prata itself with some gravy! One more thing, it's kind of hard to see a motorbike here. And when there is, the only motorbike we saw, are Harley Davidson's! Another thing that hits me is that, Australians actually eating their symbolic animal - the kangaroo! When we dined at the Miami Bakehouse, my cousin was asking if I wanna try kangaroo pie. I was dumbfounded and they further explains that there are just too plenty of kangaroo in Australia and they are trying to get rid of them. The kangaroos are initially made as dog food, and some geniuses reckon that it is safe for human consumption too, saying that it is high in protein, and low in fat - better than other meat like pork, chicken, beef and lamb. Was thinking, can we eat our Orang Utans too? Ewwww!!!

This trip.. I didn't get to see any kangaroos, koala, wombat and other animals. Simply because I've seen it before, and there's just not enough time.

Gota ciao~ needs to wake mom up at 3.30am and off to the airport!

Australia.. the next time I come to visit, it's gonna be for good!!!

Wow~ it has been a long tiring day and although I have total access to Internet via Nelson's PC (as he moved out to live with his gf), I have got not much time to blog.

Well, what's interesting.. hmm~

Oh ya! I did get a few pairs of nice woolen socks!!! And I saw this cute little pink boots, and it's cotton!!! At the label it read "Home socks". Now that's nice! Bought 3 pairs of woolen socks for AUD5 and the cute boots for just AUD8!!! Wearing both of it keeps my feet warm at night. Emmm niceeee!!!

I guess what interest me the most here in Australia is how the sky looks like! It has a clear blue sky, and sometimes the view of the fluffy clouds just awed me! Guess the skyscrapers and amount of vehicle in Malaysia polluted the air and scenery. Thus I don't even bother to look at the sky while I'm in Malaysia as the only thing I see is this gray dirty air filling up the atmosphere.

And I had the most wonderful dinner at uncle's place last night! His youngest son, who is my cousin Teong Jin, is a chef - a master chef indeed! He cooked several food which I clearly forgotten the name, but remembered a few like T-bone steak with his special made onion sauce, served with grilled potatoes and cauliflower baked in cheese.

PLEASE DO COMPREHEND WITH THE QUALITY OF MY PHOTOS. Firstly, I was late and everyone had already stirred up the food. Secondly, I was too busy that I just kept snapping away when I saw the food, without putting any effort to make it look nicer. Thirdly, I was hungry and cold and thus hand shaking.. sob sob!

This is not the only food he served. It is just 10% of it. He served 2 different type of pasta - spaghettini and penne! No photo of it.. soweyy..

And one food that blown me off is the greek lasagna called moussaka! Instead of having layers of pasta, cheese and sauce, Teong made this moussaka by having layers of minced lamb spaghetti sauce, brinjals and cheese! I can't describe how much I enjoyed this dish, as I just kept eating it and thinking if this is how heaven taste like, I don't mind dying young!!! Haha!!!

HE also cooked beef casserole with big onions and ham! Gawd.. how lovely it taste..

OMG I JUST SPILLED RED WINE ON NELSON'S DESK! Was reaching for my persimmons and my big sweater kinda get onto the glass.. yicks!!! Well, it's all cleaned up now!

Okay, now back to the beef casserole, the chunks of beef is just so tender and juicy, the casserole has a little bit of wine taste too!

Next is the fish! It's just like fish fillet, but this is Teong's version. He minched the fish, mix it with some corn, potatoes and other ingredients, and fry it with bread crumbs. It taste so good by itself already, and when Teong offered us some tartar sauce which he made specially for this fish, I was practically begging for God to give me more chambers in my small tummy. The tartar sauce was delicious! It has the usual ingredients, but Teong added some anchovies (unique eh!) and some red wine too!

Lemme think.. next next.. OH ya!!! There's this chicken with some yellow gravy. It taste like cheese, and mushroom, and it was superb!!! You might be asking yourself by now "WAA.. REALLY EVERYTHING OSO NICE MEH!!!". But it really is! Teong's food has never fail us... not even near... as he just kept blowing us away!!! This chicken was so tender and it is filled with the aromatic sauce of cheese and mushroom (I hope I don't get the taste wrong as every dishes as its own aroma and such a strong taste!)

There's some more.. He made some salad for those who are very health conscious. It has many types of vegetables, and I'm a really big fan of baby tomatoes.. and it might surprise you on what he put in the salad. It's like this square chunk of hard cheese! I never get to taste this as I was too full and salad isn't really my thing. I took all the baby tomatoes instead.

For the grand finale, he prepared some puddings. This chocolate pudding is dipped inside a sweet sauce of red dates. I just grab a bite from Rachel as I was simply too full to be putting anymore food!!! Clearly God didn't grant my wish that day!

Talking about food, guess what I had for supper! Had a super heavy one cause the weather is too cold and I kept getting hungry. It's 8 degrees now and I had a big bowl of rice with pork ribs curry and sambal prawns prepared by mum and aunty. Both prepares authentic nyonya food and I'm in good hands even in foreign country. With them around, I'll never starve! And am expecting to gain a few kilos when I'm back to Malaysia.

Weighing machine shows the same figure - 43kg. And sometimes dropped to 42kg. This cold weather is giving a good treatment. Body is working so hard to keep my body warm and thus burning all my fats! Horrayyyy!!!

Well it's almost 11pm now. And I better get to sleep before the weather gets colder. One of my aunty said that the weather forecast for tomorrow is super cold. We are advised to put on our beanie, covering up our ears and of course, wearing our thermal, sweaters, woolen socks, whatever to keep our body warm.

I do hope to hear from some friends by now. Felt kind of distanced with my dear ones in Malaysia since my mobile is out of service. Stupid Maxis isn't gonna activate the International Roaming Services until they get the green light from Vince. But he's currently holidaying at Pulau Sibu and thus out of reach.

Seriously, I just had a boring day as I've been staying at home the entire day. Was hoping to go somewhere tomorrow.

Tata and nite nite my dear bloggie..

I am in Perth now!!!

(am not as excited as it sounds)

Can I be frank here? Well, since this is my blog.. and no one is reading it.. why bother right!

To be FRANK.. I wasn't excited about this trip. Maybe just a little, but not very much. The excitement for this trip has been overshadowed by my anticipation towards last day at work. The only thing on my mind is "I'm gonna leave soon.. HORRAY!!!". Probably the feeling of leaving a sucky place to work is far more relieve to know, than to leave for holiday.

And when I'm finally here, am not very excited too. One thing for sure, I'm not going to enjoy winter. Been to China, done holidaying during winter. The most scariest part about winter.. is taking a bath!!!

Am very very very afraid whenever I think about taking a bath, and how chilling it would be once I step out from the hot shower. Every single bone from my head to toe, to the little pinkie toes gonna shiver and be shaking till I apply talcum powder and when I finally put on my long john.

Although this is just a holiday, and to recce the place abit, I don't think I wanna migrate here as winter is gonna be hard on me.

But I gotta give credit to myself, as I was a being heroic in the afternoon, went out to cycle in the park with my nieces without any jacket or sweater on. Just a polo-T, jeans and slipper. Joyce who usually have cold hands and feet did what?!! Went out just like this to the park during winter?!! Uh-huh, Joyce did just that!!! And she didn't feel a thing!!! *yippiee* (not that she's too cold or numb okay...)

This is a pic of me taken moment ago.. all curled up under the warmth provided by my dear Mr. Long John, sweater and tracksuit. Going to the market tomorrow morning to grab a few pairs of woolen socks to protect my usually cold feet!

Sob sob.. missing the sun in Malaysia now. It will melt all the ice from my hands n feet!

Signing off now my dear Blogspot. Had a very tiring day and energy needed for more activities here at Perth tomorrow. Nite nite..

Heart feeling so heavy out of a sudden and all I could think of is "blog it out!"

Isn't it weird when you keep telling yourself that you'll be fine, you'll be fine, you'll be fine, repeating it just to console yourself.. and when you are finally fine, how easily people get to hurt you again and realized that you only get to be strong for that one moment, and continue to be fragile for the rest of the time?

I told someone whom I chat with in MSN the other day, that he should love his life, and shouldn't depend on someone else to determine how he feels i.e. that his life will no longer be screwed up if he managed to find a girlfriend. I was thinking at that time "OMG.. just by saying this, you are already screwed up! How can you love someone if you don't learn to love yourself?".

Things are easier said than done -- I give you this! Cause I am too, depending on others to determine if I'm going to be happy, or sad! I asked myself "Why are you so stupid.. to give people the absolute power and total control to determine your mood?! Can't you control it yourself?!"

Love yourself Joyce! Want to plant that quote in my head. It stays for like a few seconds, and "puff!!" GONE just because I get a sms/call/news in FB about certain thing.. Why am I so weak? Why doesn't the pain I bear all these while, make me stronger?

The pain just kept getting into me that I'm feeling so sick now. Feel like a sick person. Physically. Mentally. Emotionally.

Don't get me wrong. I'm not a emo person in nature, and not born depressed. I have got all these wonderful and positive thoughts with me.. it's just that, it is buried too far inside me that I have problem reaching it sometimes.

So yeah, I'll be fine soon. I'll be fine soon. I'll be fine soon.

This morning when I was driving to work, there's this one black Iswara aeroback behind me, sticking so near with my car, flashing his spotlights on me.. NOT realiasing it's a ONE LANE road and there is no point tailgating or flashing on me as I'm moving the same pace as the car infront of me!!! And we are not slow... we're just not in a F1 race speed.. Well, talk about stupid drivers..

This Iswara then rushed to another lane when we're moving towards a two lane road. This car then stick and flash on another car (Honda) on that particular lane he has just rushed into.. and this Honda driver moved on the left lane to make way for this Iswara.. and before the Iswara go speeding away, this Honda driver put his hands out and waving away as in scolding the Iswara driver.. Hmmm~ I'm not sure if I saw him pointing his middle finger.. I sure hope he did!!!

Upon reaching office, there's a road whereby all cars has got to slow down as the turning is very bumpy..driving fast would make you feel like you're on a roller coaster. Many drivers who have not used this road before, would jam brake as they cannot see the road infront of them (it's like a bump that land your car way down below). In this road, a Waja came rushing behind me.. and yeah, he tailgate so closely to my car like nobody business.. like.. practically GLUED.. can i see his face clearly from my mirror!!! I've got no choice but to go a little fast and change lane (with a lorry on that lane going slow).. When the Waja pass by my car.. He gave me a smirk.. Not that kind of showing-off-smirk, but it's a smile that made him look like he's grinning. I guess he's enjoying himself driving fast on this kind of road. Hope his car suspension go cuckoo later on!!!

When the road rage experience early in the morning seems to be enough for the day, I reached office and find my phone ringing. HARLOW.. it's not even 9.00a.m yet!!! Since that call.. my day have been miserable. I even dreamt about handling customers in my dream last night!!! Is it some sort of a sign??? ...that my Friday would sucks???!!!

Third incident, you know I wouldn't take to take my shower whenever you, your family or friends is in the bathroom, but when you are in there, you refuse to get out!!! I kept 'shooshh' you away and yet you stubborn lizard stood still on the tiles!!! Mum came to help to halau you and you just ran away in between the doors!!! And you thought I wouldn't dare to squash you by closing the door?!!! ....on second thought, yes you are right.. I don't dare to. But even though when I tried to close the door a little bit to scare you away, you detach your tail!!!! And your detached tail just kept twitching by itself!!! OMG!!! You freaking disgusting creature freaks me out!!!!

And you even attacked me in my office!!! You knew that I'll be wiping my desk every morning.. and you.. you f*cking lizard hid behind my plant SURPRISED me when I remove my plant to wipe my desk!!! You jumped on my desk, gave me a scare and escape!!! You coward!!!!!!!!!!

Hi Blogspot! :P

It has been awhile...I almost forgotten my password to sign in to my own blog!!!

I guess my writing/blogging skill is kinda rusty now.. Finding it hard to start off with my intro or suitable words to continue writing.. Gosh..

Ever since my life changed course, things seems to be very uncertain. Despite having a job now, I still feel like I've not settled down yet, as in.. still feels uncertain. Is this not the right thing for me?

I do hope I have more things to blog about in the future. Life has been pretty boring recently, work, FB, yoga, yam cha and it repeats for the entire week.. and months now.

Kind of miss college life.. Ideas came running to me while hanging out and chatting with my funny classmates. I miss all of you buddies!!!

Gotta get back to work. Till I find time and mood to blog again.. adios!

Wonder why I have all those quotes filling up my blog spaces?

I just need to be reminded...

I need self brain wash...

I need to feel better...

I'm worried, in trouble, and needed advice...

Those quotes are all I have...

Today before you say an unkind word - Think of someone who can't speak.

Before you complain about the taste of your food - Think of someone who has nothing to eat.

Before you complain about your husband or wife - Think of someone who's crying out to GOD for a companion.

Today before you complain about life - Think of someone who died too early on this earth.

Before you complain about your children - Think of someone who desires children but they're barren...

Before you argue about your dirty house someone didn't clean or sweep - Think of the people who are living in the streets.

Before whining about the distance you drive Think of someone who walks the same distance with their feet.

And when you are tired and complain about your job - Think of the unemployed, the disabled, and those who wish they had your job.

But before you think of pointing the finger or condemning another - Remember that not one of us is without sin.

And when depressing thoughts seem to get you down - Put a smile on your face and think: you're alive and still around.
