I was challenging myself when I agreed to join my colleagues for paintball tournament this year. I'm a member in SSRC (Setia Sports & Recreational Club) and joined my team from Setia Eco Park. These bunch of players are REALLY GOOD and to prove it, they gotten champion last year against many other strong headed team! ....and this year they asked me to joim them??!!!
So yeah I agreed to give it a try! Second time for me but I'm up to a few game of pain!
Played a total of 5 games, got shot a few times and YEAH WE HOLD THE CHAMPIONSHIP again this year!
I was in the same team as all the pro player and am just glad that I did not slow them down in any way.

Note to myself
Yesterday I was pretty bored and started to browse thru my blog post, particularly the 'Travel' section.
I was so freaking glad that the Joyce few years ago was actually quite hardworking in putting in minor details of her holiday in Bangkok with Alicia, bernard & Teck Sheng. It was a very memorable holiday and one that should be remembered for a long time. I totally forgotten about the trip, the places that I have been to, and all the good food we have tried. And thanks to the blog, my memories are now refreshed!

It is known to everyone that I have short-term memory loss and I'm not good at remembering details. Hopefully by blogging it, the memories would stay with me forever.

Did not get to any Oktoberfest 2011 yet, but let me do Oktoberpost as I have not posted anything for this month! Keke...
Located at Jalan Tun H.S Lee, K.L and conveniently just beside Petaling Street, this place have been a favourite beef noodles destination for me and my dad! Dad has been a frequent patron ever since he was a young man, and I continued this "tradition" of following him there since I was a young girl.

The thick and flavourful beef noodles are the best in Malaysia! I especially like the stomach part.. Yummmyliciousss!!!

I prefer the soup noodles with all the cow spare parts...
Vince adopted a puppy for Jebsen because Toro (his pet dog) died few weeks ago. Molly is the adopted puppy who had stayed with us for 1 night before we surprised Jebsen with it. And the one night of having Molly around was chaotic! Can't stand her whining when we left her outside for the night.. Just a 3-months puppy can melt your heart just by whining... seriously!
I was down with cough and flu at that time but this puppy cheered me up and having Molly around is better than any medication a doctor could prescribed to me! :)

SP Setia is the Gold Sponsor for a musical by Dama Orchestra. This musical bring us back to the 70's and the songs that are popular back then, and until now.
Knowing that Zainal Abidin would be the special guest, I just could not help myself but to rush for it!
It is a 2 hours 30 minutes show and every penny spent on the ticket (RM153) is worth while! Patrick Teoh (www.niamah.com) is the narrator while Douglas Lim played the D.J.
Every single song that was sung in this musical could relate to my childhood (or even my parents), and I actually prefer the first and second act where they sing Dancing Queen by the legendary ABBA, Staying Alive/Night Fever/Tragedy by Bee Gees, That's What Friends Are For (one of my favourite song) and whole lot of MJ's song like We Are The World, Thriller, Beat It, Black and White and Heal The World
My leg was shaking the entire performance, and if I could, I wanted to stand up to sing aloud and dance with them!
The third act compromises more contemporary songs from Boyzone, Avril Lavigne, Justin Bieber and Lady Gaga's song. It was fun to watch, but I would prefer more oldies actually.
And Zainal Abidin really WOW-ed me with his powerful voice! He may be older now, but his voice is still as powerful as when I listened to it when I was young! I just love 'Hijau' and really admire him for expressing his grieve and thoughts about our earth and environment through his song. He also sang P. Ramlee's Getaran Jiwa and the song where he sang with Sheila Majid Ikhlas Tapi Jauh.
And I had the time of my life when I get to take a photo with this iconic singer. Although he is an international artist, but he is very humble and down to earth. Truly loves him.... :)

Mum went back to Penang for a week and let's see the mess caused by dad at home!!!
Well I'm not any better cause I've failed to keep clean my small little room as well! Bags on the floor, papers on my desk... Hey that's all!
Went out to check and JENG JENG!!! Kena heart attack!!! Dad newspaper all around the living hall, his shirts and handkerchief on the bench, keropok udang plastics on the floor...
Look at the dining table!!! No room to dine!!!
Dry kitchen cannot be helped as i am allergic to washing detergents.
Dad fried ikan kembung yesterday and the kitchen looked like he cooked for a handful of people! Not to mention the oily and greasy cooking stove! Mum would be FURIOUS!!!
Dad cooked rice and left the rice cooker just like that for nights!
Rubbish for a week!
Looking at this condition, I do not dare to be at home when mum is back later. So I do whatever I could to minimize the damage, reduce the nagging and scolding for me and dad.
Put on my SEMANGAT headband and start cleaning!!!

My room is clean and organized once again!
Dad's mess cleared!
Clean and clear!
Am proud to show the clean and shining stove!!!
I got dad to throw the rubbish and waiting for part-time kakak to do the sweeping, mopping and cleaning of dishes.
I tried doing all these when mum was away the other day but it does not meet up with her expectation. So 'lantak' lahh.. I malas to put effort in doing it and yet still get scolding! Hahaha...
My helping hand at home is limited today, but was a fruitful one (to me at least)! Weeeee...!!!!
